Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for an active person, with initiative and experience, to help us develop optimization solutions for companies in different sectors in their digital transformation process. For this, you will develop projects based on the analysis and modeling of optimization problems.

We are looking for people who are passionate about technology, and in particular optimization and software development because they will contribute to the development of technological solutions for companies that have placed their trust in us.

 

What is our ideal candidate like?

  • You have real experience in the development of mathematical optimization models and knowledge of the different strengths and weaknesses of the most common optimization strategies (linear programming, nonlinear programming, constraint programming, metaheuristics, local search).

  • You are able to identify the best strategy to address each type of problem.

  • You are able to understand a client’s needs, analyze their business and determine the points where optimization can help them to improve efficiency and solve their problems.

  • You are able to translate those needs into mathematical models, applying the best optimization techniques for each case.

  • You have analytical and problem solving skills to understand and isolate the problem before solving or scaling it.

  • You have knowledge and experience with some of the main libraries in the market (CPLEX, Gurobi, FICO Xpress, Pyomo, Pulp, Choco Solver, Optaplanner, etc.).

  • You have knowledge in object oriented programming (preferably Java) and experience in Python.

  • You are an organized and proactive person, fluent in Spanish and English, available to travel and interested in working in a company with international projection.

  • But above all, you are interested in optimization, with the ability to learn and the desire to solve increasingly complex problems.
